Michigan has passed a law setting a 100% clean energy standard by 2040. Many argue we can’t get there without nuclear power. Humanity’s seemingly insatiable appetite for more energy is only expected to increase, as more electric vehicles hit the roads and emerging technologies require more power.  Meanwhile, wind farms and solar fields are not being built fast enough to offset lost megawatts from shuttered coal plants.  At the crossroads of a climate crisis and energy crisis, the future of clean energy in Michigan may be nuclear.
