A 6-year-old girl with special needs was found safe in Pike County after having been missing for over 12 hours. Pike County Sheriff Tracy Evans said the family of 6-year-old Airies Flanery reported her missing around 6:45 a.m. on Thursday. She was last seen at 2 a.m. in the 100 block of Hopper Road in the village of Piketon. Crews found her around 7:57 p.m As of Thursday evening, she was taken to the hospital to be checked out, but the sheriff said she was safe. Sherrif Evans said his office would release more details after the search teams debriefed. He said she was found relatively close to her home and was found by herself.
